Christmas eve
Hi all, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas…
We all didn’t even get dressed on Christmas day, It is not the same without family here…Chris was at work and it was frankly depressing.
We had planned to go to his moms house for a “Christmas eve” the day after Christmas hoping JJ wouldn’t know that it was late….all was fine until…Alaska stepped in.
Here we are on a “postponed” Christmas eve….JJ so excited for Santa, Diva could care less….WE have to have Christmas eve (late) even if Daddy is weathered in. Here comes huge blizzard to the Kenai Penninsula….Daddy is not comeing home (He flys on a hellicopter home from the inlet). TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT! We had planned to go to Gramma Gayles so we had to without Daddy or not….our Christmas eve celebration.
Before party….Diva decides to help with dishes.
Kids before party…
Grandma Gayle and Diva
Grandpa’s Girl
Yes, so it was horrible, Daddy wasn’t here for eve (late Dec 26) but we love our Grandma and Grandpa so all is fine. We are just thankful that Daddy came home before the kids opened “Santa” so it was great. Not the ideal, please Ladies if your man works at home be thankful that they are there, ladies if they work away, please love them for the work they do to support their family.
We had a lovely time with our after Christmas visitors. Best cousin Shayla and Auntie Ta came to visit. We had a lovely gift exchange and went to see “Lemony Snickets serious of unfortunate events” we had a great time and love to spend time with them. thank you guys for coming and seeing us…Love you.
Hope all had a happy new year…love to all, remember to keep praying for our soldiers and our loved ones….heard a song tonight on my way home from work that made me cry… I feel sorry for our Soldiers that are fighting for us and they didn’t even get to see they’re loved ones at all this season. I cannot even complain for a few days, that would be so selfish. We are so blessed to live in a country with volunteer soldiers that fight for us…please keep them in our prayers..
love to all..
Deanna
