Daddy kisses

Diva gives kisses to Daddy freely when he is home….by the way, she asks for him everyday, she doesn’t forget him. One of Chris’ favorite songs is “Cats in the cradle” JJ and I heard that tonight, it choked me up….

We really want him to be home more, but in order for me to be home for the kids, this seems like the only answer.

Here is the princess on “simba” a gift from her auntie Brandy….she loves it. This dress was supposed to be one I made, but to tell you the truth, Jen did most….okay all of it

In JJ’s words, he is getting “gooder and Gooder every day” but today, he told me he had problems in class.
But he did read an entire book to Jen this afternoon….so he is learning to read. Next week is spring break….I sure wish I wasn’t working. I am getting really burned out. My Diva is needing me I think. When she is with me she won’t let me out of her site. I need to make up some time to her. JJ is such a trooper, but he is asking me for Karate’ lessons and I need to oblige him, and have no way of doing that while I am working.

Just a little history….JJ’s “Mark McGwire”…is in trouble for steroids….You may not know but JJ was born on the day Mark McGwire Broke ( the coolest day in all history…..(9-8-98….nothing more Coool than that) the homerun record….it was all the Surgeoen and Operating Room Staff could talk about when JJ was Born, and Dr B. thought JJ’s name should have been Mark McGwire*. He actually still remebers that….6 years later…….really…..said so when JJ saw Diva’s ultrasound last year.

Well Daddy was home last week, and we went to the big city of Anchorage for a medical test for me (nothing horrible, I promise) and we decided to make a weekend of it and stay a couple of days since daddy was gone for so long last hitch. We decided to really go for it and stayed at the Anchorage Hilton Garden for 2 nights. They have a really nice pool, and if you know my son at all….that is what the world revolves around. So I can not believe that I would actually post pictures of myself in a swimsuit but it was fun.

I bought this bikini at old navy and Daddy said….NO MORE!!!! THE END OF BIKINIS!!!! so she is out of luck…actually I agree with him, I only bought this one because it comes with a surfer like t-shirt too, so if she is in the sun she wont get burned, I liked that feature since she is a redhead.

So anyway, Daddy gone again, so fast….his time off just flies so fast. We had so much fun, we ate good food. i was trying so hard to capture this moment between diva and daddy, they were interacting so beutifully, if I would have been a better photoghrapher it would have been gorgeous.

JJ had so much fun, I think he ate a whole medium pizza on his own, used his allowance to buy a new video game and DVD….he had such a blast. He lived for the pool, and can’t wait till the next time.

As always, love you honey, hope you know your time home is always special….no matter what what we do.
