Brace Yourself
Parent teacher conferences….how scary is that? I remember always being afraid of them when I was a kid……but guess what I am MORE afraid of them now! Is that crazy? I worried and worried as a kid….of course we were never invited and it meant both mom and dad were taken away from me at night back in the old days (I WILL NOT TELL MY AGE!) I sat there chewing my nails thinking I was dead meat! I dont know why I was of course the perfect child 
However it is different when it is YOUR kids being graded….doesnt that reflect the parent as well? oh how weird….I dont like this…I have already gotten 2 frowns from reading with the boy….do I flunk as a parent? This cant be his fault….only mine for not being the perfect mommy….
I will let you know how it goes tomorrow….

Hunny you could NEVER fail as a parentthese little critters are not sent to us with a manual. our parents made mistacks. *SHHHHHHHHHHH* dont tell them I told on them all… and so will we. but here is a thought for you…. RELAX. it wont be as bad as you think. all will be well. he has a wonderfull teacher that is understanding and kind. she is patient and if anyone will make it through to him… she will. she will make reading fun … he will be with all the others just like you and I were. no worries. NOW … STOP chEwiNG YOUR nAILS.
